High Efficiency, Low Excess Air Burners

The JBS(X) burner offers improved emission performance and higher turndowns (12 to 1 on Natural gas). This burner is designed with a new firing head and improvements to other components to support the higher turndown and lower emissions, making it super efficient!

The new firing head places a high spin on the combustion air that improves mixing and flame stability. This allows the burner to operate with lower NOx emissions. The firing head also is designed to keep the low fire flame off of the burner head, thus high turndown rates without heat damage to the firing head are easily achieved.

The JBS(X) series is offered from 40 to 400 BHP.

The JBS series is available as a standard gas and/or oil fired burner (model JBS) and as a low NOx burner (JBSX). Both models fire natural and digester gas, LP, and #2 fuel oil as well as combination gas and oil. The JBS model is available with heavy, #4 through #6 oil capability, as well as other new fuels such as Tallow and Bio-diesel.

Oil systems available on the JBS include a pressure atomizing return flow nozzle (to 350 hp) and an air atomizing system.

The JBS(X) can be equipped with linkage controls or linkageless systems with a wide range of options. The new Webster Cam-Netic II fuel cam is also available.

In addition, several low NOx options are available using Induced Flue Gas Recirculation (IGFR) to achieve NOx levels of 60, 30, and 20 PPM NOx on natural gas.  Low NOx options are available for LP and oil firing as well.
