Following is a brief description of each Selas brand.

Pyronics has been serving industry for over 60 years as a supplier of combustion products and services to commercial manufacturers ranging from ferrous and non-ferrous metals, glass, ceramics, plastics, food processing, chemicals, heat treating, powder coating and textiles.

In 2009 Selas Heat Technology Co. acquired Pyronics, Inc. and its subsidiaries, creating one of the industry's broadest resources of industrial burners, process burners, mixing systems and related combustion accessories and equipment.

Since 1872 Ray Burner has provided a wide range of dual-fuel package burners for the industrial combustion markets and commercial boiler market primarily in North America. Selas acquired the Ray Burner product line from its owner in September, 2011 and has begun to leverage its global multi-channel sales and marketing network to improve distribution of the products and further enhance the Selas strategy of offering its customers a World of Combustion Solutions. Selas has moved production of the product line to its production facility in the Cleveland OH area.

Maxsys Fuel Systems manufactures energy saving equipment that pre-treats fuel (gas and oil) supplied to the burners of a unit to enhance the combustion, produce a cleaner burn and lower carbon emissions (CO2). Maxsys serves a wide range of industries that use combustion systems including industrial boilers, ovens, dryers, kilns and furnaces. Maxsys customers have seen a reduction in their fuel consumption by a minimum of 5% with short investment payback. The Maxsys fuel systems work by applying a finely calibrated magnetic field to the fuel, which aggregates nanoparticles in the fuel to prevent fouling of the burner exchange surface and enhancing the combustion to create a hotter flame. Selas Heat Technology Co. LLC completed the purchase of Maxsys Fuel Systems, a portfolio company of Aloe Private Equity, on October 28, 2011.

Red-Ray’s broad range of direct gas-fired burners employs an air-gas mixture that combusts and heats an emitter to produce high temperatures and maximum radiation in the medium wavelength 1-5 micron range. Products include surface combustion and gas impingement burners as well as a compact operating and control unit.

Selas Heat Technology Company acquired Red-Ray in 2012.

For over three decades, Webster’s proven designs have helped customers reduce emission levels, and provided higher efficiencies for new systems as well as replacement installations. Webster’s most recent innovation, the patented Temp-A-Trim® system, senses combustion air temperature and automatically controls the fan speed to create a constant air flow mass for combustion, thereby maintaining optimum fuel/air ratios to enable maximum burner efficiency.
